now we have a kid i feel like we have to have all these fun traditions even though he has no clue what it going on. so for christmas eve we made cookies for santa claus!
i gave Korvin some measuring spoons that he held for about 2 seconds and put him in the bumbo on the counter so he could be a part of it.

he is so fun to have around. just look at that handsome chubby face :)

at the begining of december i found a really cute christmas plate and cup at target and then went to my moms house to use her vinyl machine and this is what a came up with! i think they turned out really cute and i can use it for years to come!

on dec. 12th Korvin turned 2 months old!
he has gotten so big in just 2 months.
he weighs 12.44 lbs. (69%tile) and is 23.5 inches tall (72%tile)
that means he gained 4 pounds in 1 month. what a little chubbers!
he now smiles.
loves to snuggle (thank goodness!)
hates to get dressed.
loves bath time.
loves to eat.
and sleep.

Korvin was blessed on Novenber 20, 2011. it was a special day because it was also my dads birthday. he was blessed in sacrament and then we had a family lunch afterward at my sister Jolene's house. I am so proud of my husband for being worthy and able to bless Korvin into the church. he gave such a wonderful blessing and the spirit was so strong i couldn't help put cry. i am so grateful for the gospel that we have today and how it is so important to have eternal families.

it was such a fun and special day we love you Korvin!

before Korvin's blessing i decided to get his haircut because he already had hair hanging over his ears and hanging way over in the back. We have a some good friends from when i was little that used to cut all our hair so she cut Korvins too.

on Nov. 12th Korvin turned 1 month! i saw on pinterest one time these pictures of a kid that was in a laundry basket, and they had taken pictures of him every month to see how big he had gotten. i though it looked like fun so i thought i would try. (i just wish i would have gotten ones when he was born :(

at 1 month he weighed about 8 pounds and about 21 inches long and its official he has blue eyes.

Halloween!

this was Korvin's first halloween! he was such a cute little monster!

we went trick or treating with all the other grandkids at Grandpa Wetzels work, and it was so much fun!

for halloween we decided we were just going to relax and have a fun night in and hand out glow sticks to trick ot treaters, but i learned real soon that we were not going to be getting any trick or treaters.. so we loaded up and went to visit my mom and dad and went to my favorite place to get candy for halloween. we call it the mansion house and it is this way cool place by my parents house that hands out king sized candy bars every year. (any kids dream!) they also have train rides, balloon and campfires all over to sit and enjoy.
we had lots of fun and then headed home and enjoyed our quite evening.

because Korvin had jauntice after he was born, we had to put him in the sun to help clear it up.

poor guy was having to go in everyday to get it checked for over a week! luckily he didnt have to be under the lights though!

the first time we gave Korvin his sponge bath he HATED it! he just cried and cried it was so sad. (as you can see in the pictures)

we had bathed him before he was due to eat to help wake him up, but because he cried so much it wore him out and we tried for straight 20 min. trying to wake him back up to eat! needless to say we gave him baths after he eats now.

once he was able to have real baths he loves them! even now, he gets so relaxed, he falls asleep in them. i love it :)

well i am finally posting about our sweet little boy's arrival so get ready for the longest post ever beacause i wanted to write everything down for my personal journal.
there are so many pictures i loved that it was so hard to narrow down! they were done by Rachel Steele from Steele the moment photography and she did such an awesome job!

so the weekend before Korvin was born i had being having a lot of regular contractions but i wasn't dialating so nothing could happen.. i was so miserable that i was willing to do anything! walking, lunging, dancing, bouncing on a ball, and getting my membranes stripped as much as i could.
that monday i went in to get them stripped and i was dialated at a 2+ and i was still super miserable! so tuesday i called the doctor and they said i could come in to get my membranes stripped again so i headed over there as fast as i could and it was about 4:00 pm. i had gotten all ready and was just waiting for the doctor to come in to get this done and the PA came in and said the doctor had just left to go deliver a baby!
i was so miserable!! i couldn't believe he had left to go deliver a baby! that should be my baby i wanted him out so bad! so of course i left the doctors office crying because i had reached my limit and i blame all the hormones :) so we left with a "we will call you if he gets back before we close today to come back" thinking there was only an hour left how could he be back in time and let me do it so i will be pregnant yet another day..
i had just gotten home and had to use the bathroom yet again so i went and then stood up put my pants on and went to walk out when i thought i was starting to pee my pants so i went and sat back down on the toilet but didn't really do anything so i got back up and left as the doctors office was calling! it was 4:50 pm. i felt like i couldnt hold my bladder and i was thinking great this is going to be a fun new side effect from pregnancy so i just put on a pad and we rushed to the doctors office so we could! when i got out of the car i felt this little gush and i told brady great i think i just peed my pants or my water just broke just to tease him! i thought to myself luckily i am wearing a pad i will just go freshen up when we get inside and i kept walking and it just kept coming! i thought i definately dont pee this much but i didnt want to really get my hopes us because this could be a very embarassing story to just find out i had peed my pants! but i would rather get checked here then make another trip to the hospital to just get sent home again.. (i may or may not have been there a couple other times already)
so we are checking in and i whispered to the front lady that i think my water might have broke and they said well then you shouldn't be here you should go to the hospital! but i said i dont really know it just barely happened, so they took me to a room and i undressed and was sitting there under about 5 puppy pads for what seemed like forever!! by now Brady was definately starting to panic a little pacing back and forth waiting until finally he came in.
we talked to him and told him what was going on,(this was the most akward part because it could turn out really good because i could be having a baby, or i could have peed my pants and it would be really embarassing!)he said he would check me, with what looked like a ph strip to check your pool, and that would say whether my water had really broken or not. to my relief it had! it changed so fast they were joking about it. he checked me to see where i was starting at and i was at a 3 and 90% effaced. they gave me my golden ticket in and headed home to hurry and finish packing my bags!
i couldn't believe it i was actually going to have a baby!! it was such a good feeling going into the hospital knowing i wanst coming out till i had had our baby. we got checked in and was getting set up and settled in when my contractions had stopped so of course i had to get started on petocin. i knew from everything i had heard i would most likely getting an epidural once i got petocin but i thought i would see how it goes. it was about 7:00 p.m.

things were moving right along. the petocin had definately kicked in and was working hard and i couldn't take it anymore so at about 10:00 p.m. i got an epidural. (i was so nervous about having an epidural because of all the things that could go wrong and i hate the feeling of a numb mouth after the dentist how could i stand my whole lower half being numbed?! it wasn't as bad as i thought though because i could still move my toes and feet around just enough that i was comfortable with it.) i was dialated to a 4. it took a half hour to feel completely numb though, but once it was finally numbed evenly it felt sooo much better!

they checked my again at about 11:00 p.m. and i was dilated to a 6! i had gained 2 cm in just one hour hallelujah! things were really happening and i was to anxious to sleep so i just talked with my mom, and my sisters, and brady joking about things.

12:00 a.m. i was a 7

1:00 a.m. i was an 8.

i was getting closer and closer i was getting so excited there was no way i could sleep no matter how hard i tried, which made me nervous because what if i had this excruciating long labor that i could not do because i have not slept in awhile..
luckily that wasn't the case.
i was also starting to get super uncomfortable from being in bed so long that i just ached in my back shoulders and hips.
finally at about 2:45 a.m. they checked me again and i had made it to a 10!!! they started to get everything ready and the nurse had me push a couple of times to see how it would go and apparantly i did a good enough job that they said they would call the doctor to come and i had to wait very patiently spread eagle for the world to see while they waited for the doctor to come about 20 min. later! luckily i was numb and couldn't tell i was naked and exposed for everyone to see or it would have been 50x more awkward..

they gave me oxygen while i was waiting to give me some extra so it would make pushing a little easier.

finally about quarter after 3 a.m. he arrived and we would be meeting our little boy so soon! i started pushing during the contractions and it wasnt bad at all! (thank you epidural) and inbetween the contractions the doctors was giving Korvin a alphalfa(sp?) do. awesome.
5 pushes later out came our little man!
i got 1 stitch, which wasnt bad at all.

the first thing i thought when they put him on my chest was man he is super slimy and this is a little disgusting.. (did anyone else think that or am i awful for thinking my child was a little disgusting?!) the second thought was holy crap i just had a kid! it was the most amazing thing i could ever experience knowing this little boy was now going to depend on me for the rest of his life and i was going to be able to take care of him! i cannot believe the love that flooded through me at that point. there is so much joy that i feel just thinking about him and how much i love my little boy! i cannot imagine life being without him anymore.
they took him off me and cleaned him up and weighed him

i couldnt wait for them to give me my baby back, but i had to wait while they cleaned him up and made sure he was healthy.

once i got him back we did skin to skin (which i definately recommend!)and it was so fun to just be able to love on our baby. i also nursed him right away and he was such a champ! he started nursing right away and nursed for over 20 min. the first time. he has never had a problem with nursing since. (which i am so grateful for)
i love Korvin more than i can even describe and i just love being a mother to him. he is such i good baby and makes my job easy! (well as easy as it could get :))

sorry i have gotten a little behind lately, but there have just been so many things that have come up and made us very busy!

last week my awesome family threw me and baby Korvin the most amazing baby shower! i dont think i could have gotten anything better. Since we are doing his room in Dr. Seuss they gave us a Dr. seuss shower and it was so fun and colorful! i loved every little bit.

we were so spoiled!

24 Weeks!

i can't believe i am now 24 weeks pregnant!
(24 weeks and 4 days to be exact but whos counting?)

i just love being pregnant, it is the best feeling ever knowing that you are carrying a baby that you created and i love being to feel him kicking and rolling around!

i am pretty much over the morning sickness which is awesome!

right now our baby is the size of an Eggplant!
he is about a foot long and weighs about a pound and a half.

he is moving around most of the time and is growing so fast!

24 week Bump!

i realized i forgot to post my 22 week pictures and update about the baby.

IT'S OFFICIALLY A BOY!

when we had our halfway ultrasound the doctor had voiced some concerns about the baby's heart. part of is looked more inflamed than he wanted so he scheduled us to come back in 3 weeks went the cardiologist would be there to look at it.

luckily when we came back he looked at his heart and he said it was fine!

so that was a great comfort hearing our baby is healthy, he is measuring a little small though but still in the normal range so nothing to worry about!

Suprise Party!

for my birthday Brady was wonderful and threw me an awesome suprise party!

he invited a bunch of friends and family and we had so much fun!

Kimberli (my sister-in-law) made me such an adorable birthday cupcake.

i have to go back a long ways and tell you about our dear friend Mary.

she has been a part of our family as long as i can remember and a couple of years ago she lost her wonderful husband to cancer.

one day back when we were planning the wedding we were talking about how i wanted to find some cute pearls to wear for our wedding and Mary offered her beautiful Tiffany pearl necklace and earrings, that her husband gave to her, to wear at the wedding. i couldnt believe she was going to let me wear the most beautiful pearls ever and i knew how much they ment to her!(and now me!)

so back to my birthday.. she gave me her necklace and earrings!!

i was in so much shock and i am so grateful to her and how she has entrusted me with such a valueable and sentimental possesion! i know they mean the world to her and how much they mean to me as well. i am just so grateful to her and how she has been so kind to our family and treats us as if we were her own, we love you Mary!

i had the best birthday and my husband treated me like a queen! i love you so much babe and thanks for making my birthday so memerable!

cancer sucks

My dad hasn't been feeling well lately so they got an appointment with his cancer doctor and had him get some pet scans so see what was going on..
turns out the cancer has grown a lot the last couple of months and has spread several more places from his neck all the way down to his hips.
so now they want to start chemo again but my dad has an infection so they can't.
they are going to start him on the immunoglobulin(sp?) for a couple of months to see if they can get the infection to go away so he can start his treatment.
i hope they can get it all taken care of soon so he can get feeling better but until then
cancer sucks.

i love you mom and dad and we are all praying for you to get through this!

Brady's Birthday

so we went to a place called Prenatal Treasures, which is an ultrasound place) to find out what we where having because i couldn't stand it anymore!

and they said...

IT'S A GIRL!

they were pretty positive that's what it was but she said we could come back in two weeks for a free ultrasound to be sure, but now we don't know!

IT'S A BOY!

half of the ultrasounds said they were a girl and half said they were a boy...

IT'S TWINS!

haha just kidding! but thats what the lady kept teasing us saying the babies kept switching back and forth behind each other and thats why she couldn't figure it out!

that seriously freaked us out for a minute but hopefully she is not serious!

we have our real doctors appointment at the end of the month and hopefully somebody will be able to tell us something because i am going completely crazy not knowing!

especially now that i have a bunch of girl clothes that i went and bought to celebrate...

the Second Trimester!

i found the great lie of Pregnancy:

{morning sickness}

morning sickness, it turns out, is not morning sickness.

it is All-Day-All-Night-When-Will-It-Ever-End-Sickness.

i don't care much for it.

i found this in a book my aunt gave me and i thought it was funny and very true. it seems everyone wants to help and they offer..

The Advice:

soda crackers, tea, vitamins, cocoa puffs, lying down, getting up, hibernation, exercise, acupuncture, aromatherapy, massage, deep breathing, denial

The Reassurances:

in another two months you will feel great!

the sicker the mother, the healthier the baby.

some women feel much worse than you do.

And the case histories:

I never had a moment's nausea with any of my kids.

I was so sick with Johnny i LOST twenty pounds.

my second cousins hairdresser had to be in the hospital her whole pregnancy.

it's nice that people care.

so i listen, i nod, and i respond by politely THROWING UP.

that is how i feel sometimes, and i have such bad hormone changes that i really feel bad for my husband and anyone who has to put up with me for the rest of this pregnancy!

but, enough with the ranting because pregnancy is really such an amazing experience and i still can't believe that Brady and i are going to be parents. it is so unreal to me. We had our first doctor's appointment at 9.5 weeks and we got to see our little blob of a babe on an ultrasound! so was such an awesome experience to see the little heart flashing its beats and that there really is something growing inside of me!

We are finally in our 2nd trimester and i am really hoping this nausea business will going away now, but unfortunately it hasn't gotten the memo. our next doctor's appointment is on April 22 and hopefully we will be able to hear the heartbeat (or see it in an ultrasound would be fine with me too)

right now our baby is about 3 inches in length and is the size of a peach!

The baby is now also starting to move his intestines from outside to inside the body and it is also developing it's vocal cords.

we can't wait to find what we are having because i think i am going to go crazy if i don't find out soon. we both think it is a girl and i want to buy everything baby that i see which is not good for the wallet either.

what do you think it is? i would love to hear that and anything else baby related because that is seriously all i think about! maybe i already went crazy and i just don't know it yet..

Me: there is a baby in my belly
Jaxt: a baby in your belly?
Me: yup
Jaxt: its a cute baby!
Me: thanks! what am I having a boy or a girl?
Jaxt: umm.. It's a girl baby
Me: I am having a girl baby?
Jaxt: yes.
Me: what her name
Jaxt: umm.. Bear
Me: her name is bear?
Jaxt: yeah baby bear.
Me: is she a Bear because she has lots of hair?
Jaxt: no. She has no hair.

So in conclusion I am having a bald baby girl called bear. I am so excited :)

Big News!

So some you you might have heard.. i am PREGNANT! words cannot describe the joy we feel that we are going to be parents in as little as nine months! i am still in shock over it and i can't believe it is really happening but it is!! i am not that far along but we just couldn't wait long enough to spread our happy news!! today i am 5 weeks and 5 days along and is the size of a sweet pea. we are due October 21, 2010 according to the calender and our first doctors appointment is on march 8 :) i dont think we could be any happier right now!

Christmas in Denny

Our little Christmas tree this year was a lot of work. this was our first christmas married and we didnt have any ornaments so i took some christmas paper and modge podge from my stash and made a bunch of christmas tree ornaments. it took forever but i think they turned out pretty cute!

Christmas was so much fun we just woke up and went to Brady's parents house so we could talk to Jacob who is on his mission in South Africa. It was so fun to get to talk to him. he is doing so good and will even be coming home in May!
Then we came home and opened presents at our house. it was weird having it be just the two of us but is was still really fun :)

So the day after Christmas we left early in the morning and went up and stayed with Brady's Mom, Kim, and his step-dad, Reed, in Denny California. it was so much fun to be able to spend time with his family! We left on December 26 and didn't come back till January 7th (just in time for school to start).

Kim and Reed Live in such a beautiful place! every where you look is just breathtaking.

Hello! we are still alive and doing well we have just been super busy! Brady has now been working with his uncle building houses so he has been home all the time now which has been so much fun! I have started back up in school full time which keeps me really busy as well. In our spare time we have been painting our kitchen table red and watching all the seasons of house m.d. :) i will post a better update later but we are still here and have a new addition to our family.. a Laptop! so hopefully i can be a better blogger!

Birthdays

I had my 20th birthday in June, and my nephew was born the day before mine, so my awesome hubby and family threw a suprise party for me and him on Troy's birthday. On my birthday one of my best friends was married! it was so fun to be able to go to the temple and see them married for eternity. It reminds me how lucky we are to be able to do that and i was able to do that with Brady. Her wedding was so beautiful! i will post pictures later. but, here is pictures of our birthday party :)

I got my hair cut for my birthday and i love it! its hard to see it cause it is pulled back but i will post better pictures later!

updates and upkeeps

i apologize in advance for the long post(and the several smaller ones after it), i havent been a very good blogger lately and i am way behind on what has been happening. Brady and i are coming up next week on our 5 month anniversary! crazy! i can't believe we have already been married that long.. but as the saying goes time flys when you're having fun :) Brady has been working a lot more and is out of town most of the time (so i am free if somebody wants to hang out with me!) but that means i have lots of time to do projects and crafts around our house! i have loved watching our little house become a home to us as we personalize it to fit our style. My family has been so good to me hanging out with me constantly and helping me with my creative ideas. My dad made me some bookcases for my bedroom back home and now he just build us another new one to make a wall of bookcases since brady and i are book fanatics!

and after: three bookcases, books, green paint, and other odds and ends. are bookcases aren't quite full yet but that means room to buy new books right? My dad did such a great job on our bookcases and we love them!

My awesome mom has also been helping me get things done she made me cute vinyl sayings to go on my wall (she is also wanting to start up a business making vinyl sayings so if anyone is interested you can just write on my wall and i can get the information to her) and made these cute pillows for my couch :)

i have also been decorating our bedroom, we got these night stands from brady's parents. we painted, and stressed them to make them match our bed.

We also traded some dressers with Jolene, since the drawers were painted and i wanted the wood to show i had to strip the paint on them, this dresser had been painted five times before so it took a lot more work than i anticipated but i think the outcome turned really well..

i got a bunch of frames for real cheap at the DI and painted them different colors, and with some, i put fabric in them and hung it on the wall.

i had the t.v. stand that my dad made for my room at home, we just painted it black and my mom helped make these curtains for the window.

We were able to buy us this awesome bed with the money we got from our wedding(whiched worked out perfect because we had no idea what we were going to sleep on!) and my mom made us this beautiful quilt for our wedding present! we were able to do our own quilting for this quilt and it was so much fun! i would reccomend it to anyone who does quilting, the store we went to were so good to work with and it is WAY cheaper then having someone else do it.

i love that mirror (thanks Hatches!)and picture (thank you Brown's!) we got for our wedding it works so well in our room!

So, Brady turned 20! I tried to throw a "surprise" family dinner party for him, but of course he figured it out.. (i am not very good at secrets) My parents and family gave him such a good gift!

They gave us both great tickets to see Tarzan! that is brady's favorite play he was lucky enough to even see it on Broadway! (so Jealous.) but Tuacahn will be doing it this year and we get to see it! We can't wait till June 25th!

Bike Rides

The other day Brady and i decided to go for a bike ride. We packed a picnic and headed off on a trail. i hadn't rode a bike since i was about eight and even then i only rode a bike long enough to learn how to ride it, but i thought to myself, we will just go for a small bike ride how hard can it be? wrong. we ended up riding about 6 miles and ended up at my mom's house so she could give us a ride back... We had so much fun even though i was sore for days, we also packed a fun picnic and ate at a park along the way.

Hello! sorry i haven't updated in so long, life has been getting the better of me. I have been working on so many projects lately just trying to make our house i little bit more fun and colorful. I found this awesome fabric at quilted works and fell in love with it! is kinda a retro vintage fabric and the colors are so fabulous i decided this is what my living room colors are going to be. :) i haven't made the quilt yet but when i do, i will post it!

Also my wonderful husband, Brady, built us a new TV stand.
This awesome old stand was givin to us (holes and all).

we didn't have anything for our TV so we have been using it as a TV stand, but it was ready to fall apart at any moment, and we couldn't fit anything on it so.. He built us a new one!

we took the old shelves out of it because they were still good and built a stand for it.

it doesn't look like it but the color is kind a burnt red color(to match the fabric), but in the picture it loooks more pinkish.

my hunny did such a good job, and i am so proud of him! everything fits so much better and looks prettier too! :)

one month anniversary and ice skating

today Brady and I have been married one month! :)

it has been so much fun and i wouldn't take a minute of it back! i am one lucky girl.

last weekend we decided to go ice skating at the new dixie igloo ice center.

we had so much fun!

brady is a pretty good skater

i didn't fall too many times...

only a couple bruises but we are otherwise doing good and loving married life!

the honeymoon

so for our honeymoon, we went to Zion's for a week,
and we stayed at the Cable Mountain Lodge.
it was so nice and we had so much watching movies and site seeing.
we would recommend that place to anyone wanting a little getaway!

we had such a good view of the mountains,
and we ate at some really good resteraunts!
Blondies dinner was my favorite
(try their chicken strips and chocolate shakes!)

it was so much fun, but i wish it would
have snowed while we were there :( so close!

Hello! sorry i haven't updated in so long, but we don't have internet so it makes it kinda hard.. :) so guess what?! i am married now and i am loving it!! it is the best thing ever and i couldn't have asked for anything more! i am so in love and i love being so domestic! i will post pics of the honeymoon and wedding later once i find my camera.. i saw it somewhere in the packing but until then, have a wonderful day cause i sure am with my hubby! :)

To My Daddy

My daddy is the best dad you could ever ask for! He is always trying to find new ways to make things easier for everyone. My mother and i have been so stressed about the wedding and we have created these long lists of the things we need to accomplish in time for the wedding, and he is always looking on there to see what he can do or help us do. The other day he called me up and told me he had some napkins to show me for the wedding(napkins where on the list of things we needed to get). He had went during his lunch break, after asking the girls at his work where he could find some wedding napkins, to partyland and found some napkins he thought would work and wanting me to come look at them while i was out doing errands. What a cute daddy!! He told me if they where the right kind then he would go back after work and buy the rest! I could never have gotten a better dad than i have now. They are the perfect napkins and my daddy picked them out for me! :) Thanks papa

So i haven't updated in a while.. but i am gettinig marrried in 7 days!!! oh my goodness i am so excited! i need to update on what has been going on but i probably won't do that till after the wedding. I just want to let my future hubby know how much i love him and i can't wait to spend an eternity with him! He is the sweetest most caring guy i have ever met(besides my father). they say a girl always wants to find someone just like their dad and it's true, i have found him and he would do anything for me just to make my day a little better. I love You! :)

Oh how i love black friday! people are so different on that day. I love to go early, early in the morning even if i don't plan on buying anything, just to watch the people.. This year though i bought something super fun for christmas but i can't indulge it quite yet; but i am sooo excited!!!! Wait for my christmas post because i will definately be spilling the beans! :)

so... once upon a time i fell in love with a boy and his name was brady blake. We met in high school and he is the cutest fella with dimples that i have ever seen! :) We have been dating for about a year and a half and he finally proposed to me on August 22, 2009. We always loved to read and tell each other stories ever since we met and so when he proposed he made me a story and his mother Kim did the illustrations and he had it bound in a book that we read and then he bent down to "tie his shoe" when he proposed to me it was rather adorable! :) He is the cutest most sweetest guy i have ever met and i am so lucky to be able to have him for the rest of my life because he is my best friend! and will get married in January in the temple forevers and live happily ever after! I love you Brady!

New Job!

so i have a new job.. i am so excited! because of my very good friend chelsea i got my new job at the red mountain spa at sagestone spa as a spa coordinator. sounds fancy huh? :) its by tuacahn and if you have lived here long enough it used to be refferred to as "the fat farm" but now its a world known destination resort and i can't wait to get started!

Yard Sales

oh how i love yard sales! this is going to be my new favorite hobby. I went for the first time on Saturday and it was so much fun! my new purchases are a hardly used couch for 50 bucks and a microwave stand/storage thing for 15 dollars. I want to paint the stand some funky color.. maybe red? what do you think?

24th of July Road Trip

So for our 24th of July weekend my parents and I decided we wanted to go on a road trip to salt lake to see the Days of 47 parade with some extended family. Jolene and my nephew Jaxton ended up coming along with us to what seemed like a fun getaway weekend, instead it was an adventurous feet to get back home.

Our first adventure besides starting off late was to run into our first traffic accident where two produce semi's collided into eachother creating a small explosion and fire which lead to about a three hour standstill on I-15 in the middle of a summers day.

and then there was a giant dust storm...

and a second car crash..

We finally made it to our destination, set up camp, and went on a carriage ride!

and then the sprinklers came on where we set up camp......

everyone lining up stepping down on the sprinklers so there wasn't as much water

but it didn't work very well..

finally we settled down and set up our camp again to enjoy our evening

we had a very drunken visitor come to visit us and it was very entertaining.. she was asking us if we had seen fatty, fatty mckracken and her ducks. Then to top it off there was a fire hydrant in front of us where we were laying and she tried to balance herself on top of it cross-legged and fell.. :) it was very funny

just when things were settling the police came and there was a guy who was passed out drunk by us who they couldn't wake up so the firemen and ambulance people came to inspect and they ended up arresting him.

finally the parade started and it was fun until the heat got to you and then we just couldn't wait for it to be over. Buddy was so cute with the motorcycle cops, when they were driving around in the parade, after they came he would clap and say again! again! please again agian! it was so cute

We finally ended our crazy weekend with one hot day at the zoo
